Spotted in Seattle: Dogs in Linda’s Tavern on Capitol Hill

Last night I was enjoying a Milk Nitro Stout (my new favorite beer) at Linda’s Tavern, a choice watering hole for Capitol Hill residents.

LindasTavernJoe and I were “warming up” for our softball game a few blocks away. We always bring Bondi and Homie to our games, but we left them in the car for pre-game beer since I have never seen dogs at Linda’s before… not even on their expansive patio.Anyway, it was fairly busy, so imagine my surprise when I saw a young lady walk by with her Corgi. Then, just a few minutes later, I spotted another dog politely sitting under a table nearby.

OMG, could it be? Linda’s is dog-friendly? I had to investigate…

I asked our server about their pet policy. She said:

Dogs are absolutely allowed, we just don’t advertise it!

In fact, I think Norm’s may be the only restaurant/bar that advertises their dog-friendly policy. Anyway… She continued:

We prefer small and medium sized dogs, but we won’t turn a big friendly dog away either, as long as you keep them out of the way.

Good to know! I will be back with my big friendly dog(s) in tow, and let you all know more about my experience.

I absolutely LOVE finding new dog-friendly places! Did you all know Linda’s Tavern is dog-friendly? If so, have you been with your pup? What did you think?
